The Badjao Tribe in Davao City

In February 2019 a fire tore through Isla Verde and destroyed roughly 200 homes. We partnered with local pastors and community leaders to bring emergency aid to 150 Badjao families — the Sea Gypsies — and along the way I made these portraits.
